To ensure we are able to maintain a living wage for all our team members, there is a 20% living wage fee added to all checks. This is put toward our payroll costs for the entire team. Many guests choose to tip their servers up to an additional 10%.

† Our housemade bread is made with house-rendered leaf lard in the traditional Cuban style. Our brioche buns do not contain any pork products.

Course 1

Croquetas - Pork Fritters
Cuban fritters made with pork, serrano ham, and spices. Served with our signature mojo sauce. (GF, fried in lard)

Black Bean Hummus 
Our hummus is made with Cuban black beans, tahini, and spices. Served with an assortment of raw vegetables and a crispy nixtamal tortilla for dipping. (VV)

Garlic Shrimp - Camarones al ajillo
NC shrimp sauteed with olive oil, white wine, garlic, parsley, and onion. (GF without the bread)

Salad
Seasonal salad. Ask your server for today's option. (VV or V) (GF)

 

Course 2

Havana-Style Fish – Pescado a la habanera 
North Carolina fish fillet, baked en papillote on a bed of sliced orange and fresh herbs. Served with roasted seasonal vegetables and our saffron creme fraiche. Ask your server for today's catch. (GF)

19th Century-Style Cuban Shredded Beef – Ropa Vieja 
Little Way Farms grass-fed beef braised in red wine and shredded in a light tomato sauce with mint. Served with fresh avocado, pickled onion, and house-made tortillas from heirloom corn grown by Red Tail Grains.  (GF)

Country Style Pork Chop – Chuleta a lo Guajiro 
Thick-cut, Parker Family Farms pasture-raised pork chop. Served with arroz congris and roasted vegetables. (GF)

Coconut Curry Mushrooms
Crimini mushrooms in a Cuban coconut curry sauce that hails from the coastal town of Barracoa. Served with white rice and seasonal salad. (VV) (GF)

Tarta de Almendras
This classic Spanish almond cake has been served to pilgrims in Santiago de Compostela and emigrants alike for centuries. (GF) (V)
