Cuba’s most famous general, Antonio Maceo Grajales, was wounded some 25 times by blades and bullets as he fought to liberate Cuba from Spain. Tall, strong, and fearless, he was beloved by his men, who called him “The Bronze Titan.” Though he didn’t drink, we like to think he’d appreciate our spin on an Old Fashioned: balanced, spirit-forward, unforgettable. Named for one of Mexico's most famous pieces of classical music, this cocktail celebrates the beloved style of music introduced by Cuban diaspora who fled the 10 Years' War.
